By "set up the offline device thing" do you mean Navigate to Settings > Google > All Services > Find My Device, tap Offline finding, and follow any prompts to enter your screen lock to push the unlock key to your session?

You will need latest google play.

This is the same issue as #97

You can send a video, but include also the screens from the device showing offline finding is activated with that account.
The phone must have a pin.
