Bug description
When the Workspace switcher's "Type of display" is set to "Simple buttons", active windows on each workspace are indicated by a different bg color. This indication doesn't update after going into Expo and moving all windows away from one workspace. It still shows the bg on that workspace as if there are windows.
Switching to that workspace will finally update it properly.
Steps to reproduce
- set Workspace switcher's "Type of display" to "Simple buttons"
- for example, go to Workspace 2
- open Nemo
- go to Workspace 1
- open Expo
- move Nemo to Workspace 1
- focus Workspace 1, leaving Expo
Expected behavior
The indicator should update properly and show an empty workspace.

An attempt to fix it has been made, but it seems to have regressed:
