Bug description

I am reporting a graphical issue on my system running Linux Mint.

System Details:

OS: Linux Mint 22.3 (Cinnamon)
Kernel Version: 6.17.0-19-generic
Hardware: Dell Latitude 5400

Issue Description:
The screen randomly glitches or flickers, especially when the cursor is stationary over UI elements (for example, over the Wi-Fi icon in the panel). The glitch appears unexpectedly without a clear trigger.

When I move the cursor, the glitch immediately disappears and the display returns to normal.

Steps to reproduce

1.Use the system normally
2.Hover the cursor over UI elements (e.g., Wi-Fi icon)
3.Keep the cursor still for a few seconds

Expected behavior

The screen should remain stable without any graphical glitches.

Additional information

The display shows visual glitches/flickering when the cursor is idle. Moving the cursor resolves the issue temporarily.
