there is a button to open a new tab?

i have search bi it look like there is no new tab button , if is not me, it can be cool to have a new tab button at the top left when we have only one "tab" open, and a + button at the end of the tabs list as in Firefox when multiple tabs are open

Just press CTRL+T to get a new tab.

May we have a 'new tab' button please? There is ctrl-T, and File-> new tab, but, from other file managers, one gets used to there being a button. Note also that a button is more discoverable - at least it is displayed by default - than a keyboard shortcut or even than a menu item. All in all, this looks like an easy 'win' to me.
