It can but it's a lot of custom work in the native, particularly on IOS. IOS 26 does this by default though but they don't expose custom edge distance yet :(

Sorry but not planning on supporting this for now. Hopefully in the future!

You can actually besides iOS 26 (it's detached by default). On Android and iOS <= 18, just set backgroundColor to transparent and style your content.
