Key Content:

• Hardware step test with TCLab
• Graphically identifying first-order linear model
• Regression of first-order model

Proposed Lab Changes:

• Add code to check if TCLab is at steady-state, calculate Tamb
• Remove discussion questions about automating regression
• Add regression of first-order model
• Add uncertainty analysis of first-order model
• Modify discussion questions to streamline grading
• Add prelab quiz about TCLab functions / common debugging mistakes (e.g., temperature does not increase)
• - [ ] Save results to csv file with unique name
• Add instructions about keeping csv file safe, will need this again for Lab 3

Proposed Course Website Changes:

• Archive legacy regression code, only show regression with least_squares
• Add uncertainty analysis of first-order model
• Discuss Fisher information, practical identifiability, eigendecomposition
