Metrics and traces integration with multi process / multi threaded server(s)

Hi!

I'm currently evaluating the possibility to integrate the OpenTelemetry Python SDK into our Flask applications which are served using mod_wsgi and Apache2 with the mpm_event module (multi-process/multi-threaded model).
Are there any documentation how metrics and traces instrumentation should be used with multi-process servers?
Are there any documentation how to integrate the OTEL Python SDK with especially mod_wsgi?
