This would allow you to continue listening to the song that you were listening from another client. This would be like spotify where you can continue/switch from what client you're listening to the song.

You would probably need just one endpoint that gets the recent listens

getLastListens
Returns:

then client can handle the rest

None. You're getting listens of an account instead of listens of server.

I am not sure. You can I guess query listenbrainz or last.fm in order to get your last listens, but I'm not sure if you can get the playback time as well.

Don't we already have getPlayQueue and savePlayQueue for this purpose? getPlayQueue gives you the current track + the position within the track

You're right we do. @Tolriq can you confirm that symfonium support/does not support getPlayQueue? I couldn't find anything related to it in the interface/settings.
