Issues with setting up a Job for kleinanzeigen
#238
Hey everyone,
Im a new Fredy user and before raising an actual Issue i wanted to confirm the issue i am experiencing are not because i missconfigured my kleinanzeigen Job.
The current link im using to scrape for postings on Kleinanzeigen is the following: https://www.kleinanzeigen.de/s-wohnung-mieten/karlsruhe/anzeige:angebote/mietwohnung/k0c203l9186+wohnung_mieten.swap_s:nein
However, fredy does not seem to show any new listings. My immoscout configuration on the other hand works flawlessly.
Thanks a lot for your feedback and work on fredy in general!
Hey @Max10-afk
you can check it yourself actually by simply putting the url in the testProvider.json and run the kleinanzeigen test. I did it for you this time and figured there is no problem, it successfully captured the data.
Can you check what the logs say?
Thanks for repsonding and pointing out how to verify!
Checking the backend process i saw the following warning poping up:
WARN: Error executing with puppeteer executor Error: Failed to launch the browser process: Code: 2
at ChildProcess.onClose (/home/pi/Downloads/fredy/fredy/node_modules/@puppeteer/browsers/lib/cjs/launch.js:340:24)
at ChildProcess.emit (node:events:531:35)
at ChildProcess._handle.onexit (node:internal/child_process:293:12)
I am running Fredy on my raspberry pi. Gemini pointed out that i might be an issue wit an erroneous chromium install, suggesting i start the backend pointinh towards an ARM friendly chromium install:
PUPPETEER_EXECUTABLE_PATH=/usr/bin/chromium-browser yarn run start:backend
Then it worked flawlessly :)

What I'd suggest instead is running fredy as a docker container. This way you are safe as well when updating and everything is configured for you.
