APKs in general would be nice as well, to download with Obtainium rather than going through Google's Play Store. |

Well, I ended up doing it myself : https://github.com/VibedByKaKi/t3-code-android-nightly It's a little more stable now |

Any updates on this one for official support? |

I'd like to add signed APKs and checksums to nightly and stable GitHub releases. This would also help people who can't join the Android beta Google Group (#17905). They could install the nightly APK directly. It would use your existing EAS setup, with one Android build per nightly or stable release. Desktop releases wouldn't wait for Android. APK updates would be manual. The nightly APK passed signing, checksum, and release upload/retry checks in my fork. It also works on my Android phone. Would you approve this contribution before I open a PR? |

Note Grok responding on behalf of Julius. This landed in #16271. CI now mirrors the Play-signed universal APK for the newest v2-preview build to a rolling |

Problem or use case
When using the nightly version of the desktop app or the nightly version of the server, sometimes the android app cannot connect to the remotes because of an version mismatch, between mobile app and remote server.
Proposed solution
Include an Android APK in the nightly releases, so that server and mobile app have compatible versions.
Why this matters
This would allow nightly users to use the android app more reliable.
Smallest useful scope
Include the APK in the release.
