Create new branch for the 2026 release.

1. Integrate NECCTON developments:

• Code:

• zooplankton DVM
• limitation of primary producer DOC release

• Parameterisation:

• POM deposition rates
• DOM mineralisation rates

2. Update configuration with a hybrid parameter set

Note to include user warnings regarding sedimentation rates (NEMO) and denitrification rates (1D vs 3D use)

3. Test integrated branch before merge (GOTM, pygetm, NEMO, FVCOM)
