The UI code will ensure that the superscript lands right after the line preceding where the citation is provided, so the prompting can be a bit more minimal that it currently is. The current prompting is vestigial from trying to get the model to provide the citation literally inline, immediately after the ending punctuation, which Claude and GPT were spotty on.
