What do you get if you run sudo nmcli device wifi list? In rsetup under "Hardware," you should be able to set the "Software" associated with the WiFi to "" and that hsould do the trick - or what you did :)

So you're running Armbian (i.e., from Armbian directly), or is the Ubuntu distro they publish just Armbian?

I am running Armbian directly because Radxa provides Desktop images, which I do not need.

There is no nmcli available in my build, but the other tools do not detect Wi-Fi at all:

I did a sudo apt purge gnome-desktop. Now I have to start over with Armbian. I didn't know they had board support.

I also located the maximum perf instructions under Hardware. Ran stress-ng on it for 5 mins. Took it like a champ.

I don't see any cooling system input, like on the Rock 5B fan header. Is it safe to boot into Windows 11 or armbian without a cooling system, even passive?

That's what I was planning to do anyway. Where did you connect the fan, 5V or 3V PWM? I was hoping to use the second option, even in on/off mode.

I put it on the 5V, but not for any particular reason; I don't even know where I got this fan from. I think it's from a Raspi 3. I can try it on 3v3 and let you know if it works better/slows down along with the thermal management if you want.

Yes, please. My 5V is already used to turn it on and I can't control it. To control the fan, I used the 32nd pin in the gpio (be careful, it was on raspbian pi 5 inside config.txt) with dtoverlay=gpio-fan,gpiopin=12,temp=50000,hyst=5000.

@aremmell i ended to use the 5V as you did. At first i didn't see that i could turn the motherboard on with 5V alim plugged on the 12V pins on the side. I thought that 5Vpins were also for alimentation, they aren't.
