.mediawiki syntax highlighting

I'm using IntelliJ Idea 14.1.5 Ultimate, installed PHP support plugin and then - this plugin v.0.3: nothing changed.
I still see the same plain text file :-(

I tried:

1. To add new "Mediawiki" File Type as described here: https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/help/file-types.html
2. Tried to associate "*.mediawiki" with existing "PHP" file type
3. Tried to associate my .mediawiki file with an external application https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/help/register-new-file-type-association-dialog.html

- nothing gave me a sign that this plugin has even started...

What should I do?

The plugin isn't actually designed to do anything with .mediawiki files; not syntax highlighting or whatever.

It's mainly setup to help with code styles when writing MediaWiki PHP code, whether the core software, skins or extensions. It also adds some content menu items for easily searching MediaWiki.org

Maybe I should update the description to match that
