I don't know. I was having trouble reproducing this locally, IIRC because the code required some external non-rust dependencies.

I was able to reproduce this after installing protobuf-compiler, and yes it also bisects to #136006. cc @oli-obk

It's not really rustdoc as it reproduces on just the dependency, cargo check -p lance with its default and "dynamodb" features.

However, lance v0.13.0 is 2 years old (exactly!) and I can't reproduce it on v1 or later, so I think it's ok to close this.
