  • Graphical UI for Windows (pymodins-ui)

    • Python version selector with compatibility-aware installs for 3.6–3.13 (automatic version pinning per package/Python).
    • Auto-discovered Python folders dropdown (picks up installed Python\Scripts and lets you choose which pip to use).
    • Full, real-time, colorized pip output streamed directly into the UI Output panel.
    • Special handling for packages requiring system tools:
      • dlib: prompts and invokes Visual Studio Build Tools installer before pip.
      • rust: installs via rustup (no pip).
    • Help → Documentation menu entry (opens project docs).
  • System Info tab upgrades

    • CPU name and core count, total/available RAM, system disk total/free, and asynchronous average network speed estimate.
  • New and expanded categories (available in CLI and UI)

    • New: NLP Modules, Audio Modules, Web Framework Modules, Geospatial Modules, Testing Modules.
    • Existing categories expanded with many additional popular packages across ML, DL, CV, Viz, Data, DevOps, Cloud, etc.

🚀 Installation

git clone https://github.com/Nandhan-KA/pymodins.git

cd pymodins 

python3 setup.py install 

Use the package manager pip to Install pymodins.

For windows

pip install pymodins

For Linux

sudo pip3 install pymodins

💻 Usage

Graphical UI (Windows)

  • Launch the UI:
pymodins-ui
  • Notes:
    • Run in an Administrator PowerShell/Command Prompt for installing system-wide.
    • The UI supports Python-version-based package compatibility (3.6–3.13), auto-discovery of Python folders, and full colored pip logs.
    • For dlib and Rust, the UI integrates required system installers (VS Build Tools and rustup).

Python API / CLI

Simply run pymodins in Administrator Command prompt or Admin Powershell , same in Linux

or in Python terminal with Admin priviledges
