feature request: directly pause from the extension's icon

In an ideal world I'd love to be able to turn on and off based on schedule. But a very good way to achieve this manually would be to be able to pause and continue the extension (in terms of showing notifications and playing sounds) from the icon itself, instead of going to the "manage extension" section and deactivating it there.

It would be useful to be able to choose which days of the week the extension will check for notifications when you prefer to spend time on GitHub only on certain days.
