CORS error

Recently (past few days/weeks) the extension has been showing the red question mark:

Inspecting the service worker logs shows the following network errors:

Seems it might be caused by a change in the latest Chrome update: https://issues.chromium.org/issues/433208907

The workaround mentioned in the thread linked of disabling Local Network Access Checks in chrome://flags/ appears to work.
