I tried to reproduce the issue when...

• uBO is the only extension.
• uBO uses default lists and settings.
• using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

Hello,

Since a few days Eset block access to gitcdn.xyz when firefox started.
It is independent of Windows OS versions (7-11) and FireFox version (115-149).

It happens on different computers too.

Next problem is time needed to start uBlock extension when FF starts, Now it can take more and more time, is longer then normal (yellow icon of uBlock),

Why uBlock try connect to the inactive since years site: gitcdn.xyz ???

I don't understand what you are reporting. uBO doesn't use gitcdn.xyz. Provide troubleshooting information as requested: Go to Support pane in uBO's dashboard, then expand "Troubleshooting information" section, then copy/paste the content here.

Just remove it from your custom filter lists: Settings -> Filter lists -> Scroll down

How did you add those custom lists from beginning?

If you don't know why you have those lists, just reset uBO to default settings and don't add anything that you don't know about into uBO.

Your troubleshooting information shows that uBO is ready after 349 ms, so it might be another extension or your anti-virus interfering negatively.

Thank you for quick response and the pointed solution.

I use uBlock from many years, So it is possible, I added in the past custom filters, but I don't know when it happened if at all.
I check some installations of FF + uBlock (made by me) and I see different lists of these filters.
It is possible, the early versions of uBlock could add this filter.
