Forecast Charts : Date Selector

A forecast chart needs to show e.g.
time > now() AND time < now() + 7d One might want to show start time as now() - 2 days (to show past)
The Date Selector does not really make sense with a forecast as it will always be now() - now+2d {or +7days}
I makes sense to use the

But then how is the Time Span enforced? I SEEMS as if .. when i select a certain date range manually and then tick the [] Hide dashboard selector, this Span is "stored"
Please recommend how such
time > now() AND time < now() + 7d
should be done/used for graphs showing the forecast

@GronumSmith the dashboard you linked too does not seem to exist anymore. Can you point us to the correct dashboard, please?

At the moment the default shows

but for forecasts we obviously need future 2/5or7days (+ the last 2 days{where we can show actual measured / note not shown here} OPTIONAL I am not convinced that we would show past as well, just mentioning it here that from dev point of view make start time = now()-x days and stop time = now() + y days)
