[FR] it'd be great if the project could be expanded to support all the OS image files

i wanted to do make Pop OS work inside PINN, and it ended up being super hectic and beyond my capabilities. I gave up. 

if there was a way to plug `pop-os.img.xz` in one end and get the content that's to be placed in `/os` folder on the other, it'd be a game changer

with SD cards capacities growing larger and cheaper, this would be super useful for all
