FlightBooking_JAX-WS_PoC

System for booking flights in a fictional flight company, basically as a proof of concept for using JAX-WS and learning how to make a SOAP Web Service.

Architecture description:

For this web service 4 operations (Web Methods) were implemented:

authUser: it receives a username and a password and in case they exist and match on the database it returns a unique token, otherwise it returns null. All the other operations require this token to be sent.

checkItinerary: it receives a departure city and a destination city and returns a possible route (itinerary) to.

checkAvailable: it receives an itinerary and a date and it checks if there are available flights for that date. If there are available flights, it returns their price. If there are not available flights a price of 0 is returned.

bookTicket: it receives an itinerary and a date (previously confirmed as available) and a credit card number. In case the credit card is accepted it returns a booking id, otherwise it returns null. If the user does not wish to go through with the booking they can press 'Enter' and they will exit the service.
