Sorry if this is completely not related as I haven't tried the library yet but just a thought I had:

If you know the queries/fragments, you could already import them with their Typescript types..

Hey thanks for the suggestion! I'm actually in the process of a rewrite with support for auto generating queries. The link you provided will actually help me a lot in some of the problems I've run into with this, so I'll keep this issue open.
