Could you please explain the installation process a little bit more clear.

Hi, Its not clear to me how to install this. Please forgive me if i am ignorant. I just copy paste the whole code into cmd and it says - "The syntax of the command is incorrect."
I know, i did something wrong. So please explain as step by step process ?

First of all i copied all this and hit enter
"------------------------------------------"
mkdir -p ~/.vim/autoload ~/.vim/bundle;
curl -so ~/.vim/autoload/pathogen.vim
https://raw.github.com/tpope/vim-pathogen/master/autoload/pathogen.vim
"----------------------------------------------"
Then i tried with line by line, like-
mkdir -p ~/.vim/autoload ~/.vim/bundle;
But no luck.
