Hi @bydrim! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the desktop team. There isn't a user-facing setting to disable autofocus on the translation popup in Zen Browser. This focus behavior is inherited from Firefox and isn't easily changed by Zen Browser developers, as confirmed in a related popup issue where the maintainers explained it's tied to underlying browser APIs and can't be disabled directly (source). You can control whether the translation popup appears at all using about:config options like To reply, just mention @dosu. How did I do? I use Zen in English and whenever i open a website in another language, page translation popup shows up. This is nice, however it shows up when I'm already writing something or navigating with my keyboard, the browser automatically focuses on the popup and it disrupts my workflow. Most of the times I don't even realize it popped up and i click/enter something i don't want to.
So in summary, popup is good but autofocusing onto it is not.
