Split from #717 so the PHP PHPT harness PR can be narrowed and later rebased/folded onto separately reviewable platform fixes.

This PR now targets integration/kd-6nz-php-phpt-harness-only-base, the Automattic mirror of #736's harness-only head. It is a PHP-driven platform fix split from #717 and should be reviewed/rebase-merged as a derived fix before folding back into the harness branch.

Original PR #717 commit: 76c63716fd67081ecf621d503a441e09d8ad850c

Scope: fix: apply POSIX file size limit writes

Validation in this split step:

  • git diff --check origin/main...HEAD

The full PHP PHPT campaign evidence remains attached to #717 / kd-dmm; this PR isolates the platform fix for separate review and rebase-merge preservation.

Closing as superseded by origin-headed replacement #748: #748

This PR head was in brandonpayton/kandelo-agentic-dev. The replacement uses the same head SHA (96b4600) on an Automattic/kandelo origin branch and has an expanded description explaining why the change is needed and why it belongs in Kandelo.
