A COunty-REsolved Whole Energy System Model (CORE-WESM) for Kenya.
This repository contains the data, code, and documentation of CORE-WESM. CORE-WESM is a county-resolved version of the national OSeMOSYS-Kenya model.
The documentation is also hosted on ReadTheDocs.
With the exception of model input data, all files are released under a MIT license (see LICENSE.txt).
Licenses of model input data in data/raw/ vary depending on the data provider, with information provided in data/raw/SOURCES.txt.
The development of the CORE-WESM was supported by funding from the UK Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions (PACT) programme and the Climate Compatible Growth (CCG) programme. CCG is funded by UK aid from the UK government. However, the views expressed herein do not necessarily reflect the UK government's official policies.
