…reproducible The audit's "malformed @interface missing the @" scenario is itself a regular interface as written, so the existing isAnnotationType check (requires both AT and INTERFACE_KEYWORD) correctly classifies it. The only downstream consequence of annotation-type classification is populating annotationTargets from @target — verified by the new test via direct map inspection (golden text doesn't surface annotationTargets).
