I think this is the correct image for the ZY-M100-24GV3.
I'm not sure about other variants, but the device I'm using looks like this.

This is also supported by this PR: Koenkk/zigbee-herdsman-converters#7909 (comment)
I also checked the file history and the current image is added by @Koenkk himself: 6d625b8

I use separate branch and PR from the other PR in case it's not correct. TIA.

This is actually the correct image, the other one is made by Moes/Linptech.

@bapesupreme
This PR is for V3, not V2. I already have V2 and it looks like what you mentioned above.

However, AFAIK, this repo intentionally retains the current V2 image because that is the ceiling variant of V2.
* CC to your PR for V2 #4346

@Bjk8kds maybe I have the wrong model reported? My is 24G and looks like the picture I posted

I don’t have the box anymore.

Oh, so there are variants that have different appearances, but use the same firmware. Does the find switch work?

Find switch works. I can't find the topic on github right now but someone released a custom firmware for older mmwave sensors which spammed the zigbee network.

Depending on the model, the custom firmware added a find switch which was disabled to stop the spam.

There's been quite a few models released with the find switch firmware depending on which seller you buy from.

I'm guessing Tuya released an updated firmware sellers are working from for their own products. Some sellers seem to have better firmware flashed on their models. Others seem to just whitelist and sell as is.

I haven't kept up with Tuya mmwave sensors 1. due to the trade wars and 2. there are others making mmwave sensors now which are comparable in price/better than Tuya's.

Yes, I already knew that repo, the custom firmware did not "added a find switch", but rather completely disables target distance reporting.

I've opened my V2 (square) and my V3 (round) devices, the internals are a bit different, but I'm not an expert in electronics.
And I think your V3 (square) also has a bit different internals compared to the V2 (square) even though the outer casing looks similar.
I don't think the V2 can be flashed with V3 firmware. Unless the PCB is designed for V3 firmware. Who knows.

I only have a few Tuya variants, including those made by Moes/Linptech which use LD2410. I also made my own LD2410 using Esphome before.
And as far as my experience (my test) goes, for static detection (really static, like deep sleep) mmWave on the Tuya devices is still better. False negatives and false positives are very rare when someone is in deep sleep.
The detection also faster than LD2410, not easily disturbed by noisy environments (moving fans and curtains).
