MDAnalysis on Windows

Since release 0.19.2, Windows is fully supported for Python 3.4+. (Python 2.7 is not supported; the technical difficulties were not worth the limited developer time).

We recommend the conda installation.

For a pip installation, the full Microsoft Windows compiler toolchain has to be installed (Microsoft Visual C++ 14.0.).
