z_step is the full step size without microstepping for 4mm per rotation with a 1.8° Stepper that is 4/200 = 0.02

The -3 is perfectly capable of reliable microstepping on Z, that's why the value is calculated based on the microstep resolution. The description in the slicer help is outdated. |
