If I remember correctly the amplitude scaling used to be part of amplitudes view with an option to select amplitude on trace or amplitude scaling.
mayb ethis disappear with the vector refactoring.
Am I wrong ?

I think you are wrong :) We never had amplitude scalings as far as I remember

I don't think this existed. I prefer this implementation - the user can compare spike amplitudes to amplitude scaling easily and the implementation is simpler (you'd need to deal with the noise distribution subplot when switching). I also like the mental model of "one extension = one view". But happy to implement as a parameter of the amplitudes view if we decide on that.
