Four final-year students. One major project. A lot of debugging.
Hey there! π We're four Computer Engineering students from SIES Graduate School of Technology, Navi Mumbai, and this is our GitHub organization.
We're a regular student group, just like every other team in our batch. π We came together for our final-year major project, and this organization is where our code lives. It's not a company, a startup, or a big research lab. π It's four people, one deadline, and a shared folder of repositories. We're keeping everything in one place so it's easier to find and easier to share.
- π Because we're an ordinary group of students figuring things out as we go.
- π Because we've all spent hours on a bug that turned out to be a missing semicolon.
- π€ Because we don't take ourselves too seriously, even when we take the work seriously.
- β Because most of our best ideas happen at the worst possible hours.

- π One-line summary: Autonomous, decentralized off-grid emergency mesh communication network connecting civilian smartphones via ESP32-S3 nodes and sub-GHz LoRa during blackouts and disasters.
- π― Problem we're tackling: Complete telecommunication blackouts during natural disasters (cyclones, floods, landslides) and zero coverage in remote rural areas, leaving civilians and rescue responders without any means to communicate.
- π₯ Who it's for: Disaster-affected civilians, search-and-rescue teams, relief volunteers, local panchayats, and rural community coordinators.
- π Status: In progress / Active Prototype (Zero-install Next.js PWA + ESP32-S3 LoRa mesh)

Roles are loose. Everyone ends up fixing everything at some point. π
- π¬ Talk it out: we discuss the idea and split up the tasks.
- πΏ Branch off: each person works on their own branch.
- π Review: we look at each other's changes before merging.
- π§ͺ Test: we run it, break it, and fix it.
- π Repeat: until it works, or until the deadline, whichever comes first.
- π Working together on one codebase with Git
- 𧩠Breaking a big project into smaller, manageable pieces
- π Debugging code that someone else wrote
- ποΈ Writing documentation that people can actually follow
- β° Managing time when everyone has other submissions too
- π£οΈ Presenting our work clearly to examiners and guides
- π Found a bug? Open an issue.
- π Have an idea? Open an issue or a discussion.
- π§ Want to suggest a fix? Pull requests are welcome.
- π We're students and still learning, so constructive feedback helps a lot.
