Checked off 84 tracked PRs that are no longer open since the 2026-09-05 refresh: 10 merged and 74 closed. Updated the checkboxes across both the main list and the by-directory grouping, and refreshed the 'Latest refresh' summary line (approximately 669 PRs remain open). Per TheAlgorithms#15081.

Per #15081 — updating the checkboxes in
docs/hacktober_2026_prep.md.Since the 2026-09-05 refresh, 84 tracked PRs are no longer open. I cross-checked every unchecked entry against the live open-PR queue and marked the resolved ones

I left the per-script "Closed totals" table untouched, since this batch was a reconciliation against the live state rather than the output of a singleclose_pull_requests_with_*.shrun — happy to attribute closes to specific scripts if you'd prefer I re-run and record them that way.I'll continue flipping
