This is an updated release of the original version of WarGame Java!
Notable changes:
- Implementation parity (within reason; channels do not formally exist in Java) with Rust and Go
- Removed piles of code to avoid the Java way of verbosity
- Updated compilation mechanisms: ready to go JAR files
A major non-code difference between the Java and Rust/Go implementations are the files provided in this release. Specifically, there are universal JAR files, the only difference between them is the Java version compiled with -- 7 and 8. It is likely there are performance differences among those versions, but it is valuable to supply both in this case.
This is the first version of WarGame Java to be formally named after a United States Cave.
