The Java CodeQL job ran the default tasks (
clean build), so it also ran the full test suite, checkstyle and javadoc under the CodeQL tracer::sbe-tool:testalone took 331 s of the 460 s build in this run. CodeQL only needs the code compiled, so the job now runs./gradlew assemble testClasses, which still compiles the main, test and generated sources.Verified:
./gradlew assemble testClasses→ BUILD SUCCESSFUL in 2m 36s on a 2-core machine, with everygenerate*andcompile*task run.
