1. Initial => Depend on individual effort. Chaos
2. Disciplined => Elementary project management. Cost , delays and functionality control
3. Adjusted => Documented management and engineering activities. Integrated in software process
4. Quantitative management => Detailed and measured process. Quality is a metric
5. Optimisation => Continuous improvement of the process. Reactions on a process

Immaturity Level

0. Negligent => All problems are perceived as technical
1. Obstructive => Rigidity of the process. Counterproductive
2. Despising => Nothing goes along
3. Saboteur => Conscientious discredit of effort and improvements
