centroid_symmetryreturned the far edge of its search area when the source was well outside of it. It now returns the position in the search area nearest the source.A source a fraction of a pixel inside the edge was returned on the edge, with an error of up to 0.1 pixels. The search is now repeated with a smaller step when the asymmetry is lower just inside the edge.
