Looks cool 👍 I just have two quick questions. Are we also caching the open Meto data? I am just aware that we are caching the GEE data.
Just as an Idea: I am not sure if the arrow should really go from the backend to the frontend or instead the other way around since the backend is not pushing anything and the FE makes the request, but it depends on what you wanna visualize.

I did add the caching to the weather data also, it's not merged yet (here is the PR for the caching #39).
and you are right about the arrow, I updated it.

Assets, like images linked in the readme should be collected in an assets or under a docs directory with other images and documentation. Given that this is only one such file it's fine for now, but if any more get added they should be moved to a folder to not clutter up the root directory.
