PySDK V3 uses VERSION as file name instead of VERSION.txt, which breaks the PR check workflow on conda forge.

Changing there name here to avoid another release. We will update the version file name on PySDK V2 branch from VERSION.txt to VERSION to match the name for v3

Checklist

  • Used a personal fork of the feedstock to propose changes
  • Bumped the build number (if the version is unchanged)
  • Reset the build number to 0 (if the version changed)
  • Re-rendered with the latest conda-smithy (Use the phrase @conda-forge-admin, please rerender in a comment in this PR for automated rerendering)
  • Ensured the license file is being packaged.

Hi! This is the friendly automated conda-forge-linting service.

I just wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipe/meta.yaml) and found it was in an excellent condition.

Hi! This is the friendly automated conda-forge-linting service.

I just wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipe/meta.yaml) and found it was in an excellent condition.

I do have some suggestions for making it better though...

For recipe/meta.yaml:

  • ℹ️ noarch: python recipes should usually follow the syntax in our documentation for specifying the Python version.
    • For the test.requires section of the recipe, you should usually use the pin python {{ python_min }} for the python entry.
    • If the package requires a newer Python version than the currently supported minimum version on conda-forge, you can override the python_min variable by adding a Jinja2 set statement at the top of your recipe (or using an equivalent context variable for v1 recipes).
  • ℹ️ The recipe is not parsable by parser conda-recipe-manager. The recipe can only be automatically migrated to the new v1 format if it is parseable by conda-recipe-manager.

Hi! This is the friendly automated conda-forge-linting service.

I wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipe/meta.yaml) and found some lint.

Here's what I've got...

For recipe/meta.yaml:

  • ❌ The recipe is not parsable by any of the known recipe parsers (['conda-forge-tick (the bot)', 'conda-recipe-manager', 'conda-souschef (grayskull)']). Please check the logs for more information and ensure your recipe can be parsed.

  • ℹ️ The recipe is not parsable by parser conda-forge-tick (the bot). Your recipe may not receive automatic updates and/or may not be compatible with conda-forge's infrastructure. Please check the logs for more information and ensure your recipe can be parsed.
  • ℹ️ The recipe is not parsable by parser conda-souschef (grayskull). This parser is not currently used by conda-forge, but may be in the future. We are collecting information to see which recipes are compatible with grayskull.
  • ℹ️ The recipe is not parsable by parser conda-recipe-manager. The recipe can only be automatically migrated to the new v1 format if it is parseable by conda-recipe-manager.
