Summary

Bump the package version to 4.5.0 and add the approved release notes.

Notable changes since v4.4.0

  • Upgrade Databricks SQL Kernel to 1.0.0.
  • Add kernel authentication and configuration forwarding improvements.
  • Fix kernel metadata filtering and async telemetry handling.
  • Deprecate SEA in favor of the kernel backend and lazy-load Apache Thrift.
