DON'T MERGE YET: experimental

• create a dev ping account: https://identity.dev.amsc.ornl.gov/enduser
• ask for a ping app to be set up (client_id, secret) from Frank Slezak on amsc
• edit your local.env file and add PING_CLIENT_ID and PING_CLIENT_SECRET
• run make ping, click the link and paste the code value back
• bask in glorious output!
