Per further discussion with the rest of the project team, I reimplemented this PR in what should be a lower impact manner (#59) and will be closing this one. |

P. S. Old Xcode GCC 4.2 does not support
=nativeoptflag, however it fails to buildLPCNetanyway, and a newer GCC is required. And then the same flags can be used regardless of the OS on PowerPC: they gonna work not just on Darwin, but on *BSD or Linux too.
