Beyond the Bleaching Greens of LinenVille, the FoldFlax fields ripple blue in flower season, the only real colour for miles, and the Linenvillians rather wish they didn't.
FoldFlax is spun into the crisp white linen the town is famous for. Lavender and cotton are grown nearby too, and their scent carries a long way on the dry wind.
Neatly Folded
When the wind drops in the evening, FoldFlax lays its stems down in neat, even rows, as though someone had folded the field for the night. The Linenvillians, who keep their own histories folded neatly on the shelves of the Press, approve of this very much.
