Description

This adds 18 new themes from Gold, Move It!, Smooth Moves, and three newcomers: Snapped!, Mario Artist: Polygon Studio, and Mega Party Game$! This basically doubles the amount of themes in total!!
The overall theme (heh) of these themes is forgotten multiplayer and extra side content: so no Story Mode stuff here, but stuff you've never heard of and dont have many videos showing them off... including Snapped! and Sound Bomber, cuz they're so obscure and also why the hell not?!

Technical Details

All audio sources have been obtained in highest possible quality (FLAC if possible) from KHInsider. Most audio is loudness normalized to -9 LUF, though some (particularly intros) have been made louder due to sounding too quiet ingame (between -7 LUF and -8.5 LUF). Some audio was precut (particularly GameCube sources) but 90% I have cut and edited myself.
Timing & durations are set in a way that replicates the source games' original pacing, using multiple video sources as reference.
Total filesize is approximately 27 MB.

Maintainers and leads, please read!

You are allowed to veto any themes you don't like and i'll throw them out. Cuz this is a lotta stuff... and you're the boss.
Just request changes and it shall happen. (Or if you want to do it yourself - i've checked the "Allow edits by maintainers" tickbox)

P.S. The precache function doesn't seem to add credits for themes. You should fix that so that theme creators get proper credit in !ware_credits.

  • 3ds_wariointerrupts Wario Deluxe (3DS)
    • The Wario Interrupts mode. Uses the Wario Deluxe name since it's themed after and hosted by him, and the real Wario Deluxe is a song stage anyways.
  • 3ds_wariowatch Wario Watch (3DS)
  • ds_snapped WarioWare: Snapped! (DSiWare)
    • Named like (but IS NOT) an internal theme due to it being a strange case of only having one theme in the entire game. (all 4 stages share it).
    • Alternative name: Coaster (DSiWare - Snapped!)
  • gc WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$! (GameCube)
    • Internal theme.
    • All the GameCube ones are named after the character hosting them, rather than the mode's actual name.
  • gc_crygor Dr. Crygor (GameCube)
    • Balloon Bang
  • gc_dribbleandspitz Dribble & Spitz (GameCube)
    • Milky Way Delirium
  • gc_elevator Elevator (GameCube)
    • Untitled, but shared across the entire singleplayer mode, which all take place in elevators.
    • Alternative name: Singleplayer (Gamecube)
  • gc_orbulon Orbulon (GameCube)
    • All for One
  • gc_wario Wario (GameCube)
    • Outta My Way
  • n64dd_soundbomber Sound Bomber (N64DD)
  • switch_moveit_copycatmirror Red (Switch - Move It!)
    • Copycat Mirror. Named after the host.
  • switch_moveit_gothedistance Go the Distance (Switch - Move It!)
  • switch_moveit_listentothedoctor Listen to the Doctor! (Switch - Move It!)
  • switch_moveit_museum Museum (Switch - Move It!)
  • switch_moveit_switchinggears Switching Gears (Switch - Move It!)
  • wii_bomb Bomb (Wii)
  • wii_lifeline Lifeline (Wii)
    • Rather long intro, but it doesn't feel right to cut it short.
  • wii_survival Survival (Wii)
    • Ditto with long intro.
  • wii_temple Temple of Form (Wii)

Hi, I'm so sorry this took so long to take a look at (over a year!)

For a while there was the issue of differing volume which has now been resolved, and I didn't want to accept this until that was fixed since I knew I'd have to ask you to rework some of these anyway

With that in mind...

For any sounds accepted I'm going to ask you to renormalize to -9LUFS any sounds that weren't already. Don't use the already normalized sounds, if you still have the original sounds at lower volumes please normalize from those. And of course do fades after normalization.

For all results sounds I'm going to ask you to cut them to about 15s, or maybe 15s with a fade to 20s but no longer, most of the audio in these will never be heard.

Even if I just say sounds good, I'll still ask you to do those two points on those ones, since it affects all theme sounds. I will be verifying and doing the same on existing sounds.

Finally, I may still have to cut some more of these or lose some existing themes to account for map size requirements. If you want to wait until after I've got a firm answer on that before working on any of this that's fine by me.

This one sounds great, there's just some trailing sounds I can hear at the end, can you cut before them and do another short fade if needed.

Sounds good, just add some short fades to the end as it cuts off abruptly at the moment. You can also shorten failure.mp3 to 3-3.5s and then do a fade on it at that point, it has a very long tail atm.
