@kenhys Do you have any interest in becoming a maintainer and taking over this project? We have deprecated our use of fluentd and I have no intentions of doing any additional enhancements to this plugin other then accepting PR's like this one.

As another option, how about transfer under https://github.com/fluent-plugins-nursery?
I'm working on there as a member to take over such a Fluentd plugin.

CI failure depends on execution timing.

It might be reproducible on sometimes.
There is a case that @stats[:namespace_watch_gone_errors] >= 3 will be evaluated as nil >= 3.

It might be better to stabilize CI in another PR, but let's prioritize the release first.
