Reduced this to a lockfile refresh, which is the part that is safe to take now. The group bundled ten major-version bumps, and three broke the build independently:
The rest ( Every direct dependency change in this PR was a major — the "67 updates" were transitive lockfile entries. So this now keeps Verified locally: The ten majors are deliberately left for individual PRs. #176 fixes the grouping config that caused them to be bundled, so future majors arrive separately. |

The grouped update bumped ten dependencies across a major version at once, and
three of them broke the build independently:
- typescript 5.6.3 -> 7.0.2: no released typescript-eslint supports TS 7
(8.67.0 still caps at `<6.1.0`), so `npm ci` failed peer resolution before
any test ran.
- tailwindcss 3 -> 4: the PostCSS plugin moved to `@tailwindcss/postcss` and
the config format changed, so the client build failed.
- zod 3 -> 4: `.default({})` no longer typechecks against the PR work contract
schema in shared/schema.ts.
Each of those is a migration that deserves its own PR and its own review, not a
line in a 67-package bump. This commit keeps package.json identical to main and
regenerates the lockfile, which is the part of the update that is safe to take
now: transitive dependencies move forward and the audit count drops from 13
vulnerabilities to 7 with no API changes.
The remaining majors (typescript, tailwindcss, zod, zod-validation-error,
recharts, react-day-picker, react-resizable-panels, framer-motion, date-fns,
@types/node) are deliberately left for individual PRs.
Verified: npm run check, npm run test:all (787 tests), npx eslint ., npm run build.

Two configuration bugs kept producing pull requests that could never merge. Dependabot grouped every npm update under a single `*` pattern, so ten breaking majors arrived as one PR (jeremymcs#175): tailwindcss 3->4, zod 3->4 and typescript 5->7 each broke the build on their own, and typescript 7 is not supported by any released typescript-eslint. The group now batches only minor and patch updates; majors come as individual PRs that can be reviewed and migrated one at a time. release-please ran with the default GITHUB_TOKEN. GitHub deliberately does not start workflow runs for pull requests opened with that token, so the required lint-and-test check never ran on a release PR and every one of them stayed BLOCKED (jeremymcs#147 had to be nudged with an empty commit). Passing a PAT makes the PR author-created from Actions' point of view, which starts the checks. Requires a repository secret named RELEASE_PLEASE_TOKEN, a PAT with contents and pull-requests write scope. The expression falls back to GITHUB_TOKEN so the workflow keeps working until the secret exists.
