Adds the ruleset as a Claude Code output style, selectable with
/output-style concise:concise. It gives a second way to keep concise on: per project, persisted by Claude Code itself in.claude/settings.local.json, with no hook, no flag file, and no Node.js. The existing/conciseskill and always-on hook are unchanged.output-styles/concise.md: the ruleset withkeep-coding-instructions: true, so Claude Code's own engineering guidance stays and only presentation changes. Notforce-for-plugin; the user selects it.scripts/build_output_style.py: generates the style fromskills/concise/SKILL.md(frontmatter and credit footer stripped, one sentence added on how to turn it off).--checkfails when the file is stale.tests/test_output_style.py: checks the generated file is current, keeps coding instructions, and carries the ten rules.plugin-load-check.ymlruns the check.README.md,AGENTS.md, andCONTRIBUTING.mddocument the style and the build step.Verified headlessly:
claude -p --setting-sources "" --tools "" --plugin-dir . --settings '{"outputStyle":"concise:concise"}'reported the active style asconcise:conciseand quoted the ruleset's last pre-send check, so the full ruleset reaches the model through this path. Whether answers under the style match the hook path in quality was not measured; the output style has no 10 KB limit, so the same text is delivered either way.Note: Claude Code ships a built-in style also named "Concise". This one is namespaced
concise:concise; the README says so.Checked:
python -m unittest discover -s tests(50 tests, OK),python scripts/build_output_style.py --check,python scripts/build_codex.py --check,claude plugin validate .(passed),git diff --check(clean).🤖 Generated with Claude Code
