Summary

  • New docs/maps/ collection page, structured for multiple literature maps (planned next: robust covariance at massive scale; covariance evaluation & scoring).
  • First map: Schur Damping: Research Directions at docs/maps/schur-damping/ — interactive D3 graph with the damped factorization as a central perimeter, Cotton 2022/2024 + Chakraborty–Katzfuss (ShrinkTM) in the core, a ring of all works citing them, ten literatures fanning out, and dashed-red edges marking verified absences (the research agenda).
  • Linked from the home nav ("Maps") and a card on the papers page.
  • Same graph is rendered on schur.microprediction.org/map.html; this copy carries the precise site chrome.

Notes

  • Inclusion rule: formal citation of Cotton 2022/2024 / ShrinkTM, or a verified methodological connection in the full text.
  • Node URLs prefer arXiv/open-access mirrors; publisher DOIs retained only where no open version exists.

docs/maps/ is a collection page designed for multiple maps; the first
is the Schur damping research-directions graph (core circle, derived-
works ring, ten literatures, dashed-red verified gaps), also rendered
on schur.microprediction.org. Linked from the home nav and papers page.
