Description

@erayd

If you have encountered a form that does not work with Parcel, please leave a comment on this thread with the URL of that form, and a brief description of what does not work.

Please do not open an independent issue simply to report a non-working form.

    URL: https://sandbox.mabl.com/shadow-dom

    • Clicking the form fields does not trigger Parcel's context popup.
    • Filling via the toolbar popup fills the password field, but not the username.
    • This page uses a shadow DOM for each input field, all nested inside a shadow DOM container.

    • The password field is never filled.

    Passkey-only login without username & password does not work on https://github.com/login

    @erayd: Squarespace has no sane indication in the markup that this is a TOTP field. I have added a selector rule for the placeholder.

    Note that Squarespace's markup around these fields is generally awful and inconsistent, and while this solution does work for the TOTP field on the login form, it may not work everywhere within Squarespace that TOTP is requested.

    OTP field in squarespace is not found by parcel

    <input color="gray.100" font-size="[object Object]" font-family="ui" id="14fb796b-7d27-4295-91ab-5d3c6311b9a7" type="text" name="" placeholder="Authentication code" aria-invalid="false" class="css-17cryzc" value=""> is the input

    Filling credit card details into https://www.roboform.com/filling-test-all-fields yields "Cannot read properties of null (reading 'trim')"

    Credit card fields are not autodetected as such.

    Linkedin totp is recognised as a password. When parcel auto fills the totp field it enters 6 characters of the password instead of the totp.

    This is the html element.
    <input class="form__input--text input_verification_pin" name="pin" maxlength="6" pattern="[0-9]*" autocorrect="off" role="textbox" autocomplete="off" aria-label="Please enter the code here" aria-describedby="phone-pin-error" id="input__phone_verification_pin" aria-required="true" validation="pin" autofocus="" validation-message="Please enter the code present on your app" type="tel">

    As reported by @NateEag in Browserpass' equivalent thread:

    On https://www.bankofamerica.com/, the password field gets filled, but not the username.

    Additionally, there is no suitable aggregation selector in-scope for related fill.

    The username and the password input form have "id"s which have "edit". So, I think these are blocked by blacklist in selectors.js,

    <input data-drupal-selector="edit-username" type="email" id="edit-username" name="username" value="" size="60" maxlength="254" class="form-email required" required="required">

    (I can't find in the README, how I can overwrite blacklist)

    You can do it by using .parcel.json to override the builtin selectors, but it's better to avoid that because doing so would also override any future updates. Reporting it here also means that everybody else can benefit from the fix, which is now merged in #243 🙂

    I've tested and it works fine! Thank you very much.
